About Peter Edward Green
I have been painting and drawing since I was a child and have a lifelong interest in all types of art. I was brought up in the countryside, spending many hours wandering through fields, watching the birds and animals around me. I have happy memories of drawing birds with my father and uncle from quite a young age. Now living by the sea in Kent, England, I can understand why Turner loved to paint the light on the Kentish coast in such an extraordinary manner. Over the latter part of my "normal" working life (the day job), my attention has been drawn to figurative art, especially portraiture.
