Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

They have now found new life as "models" and reference material in my studio.
I am a third generation artist, tutored by my father in my early years and self-taught later on. My formal art education began in secondary and high school, as well as college. My studies included general art courses, design, painting and art history. My work has appeared in student exhibits, juried regional and national shows, as well as a private show of my own. Several of my paintings are now in private collections. I am fascinated by the process of painting to create illusions of space and depth. The most appropriate label for my work would be trompe-l'oeil, my purpose being to elicit an emotional response from the viewer. I love nature and because I live in a rural area, I am exposed to it daily. I have owned horses for many...
