Derric Moore, the eldest of four children, was born in Detroit, Michigan to devout Christian parents, but since his breech birth. His mother knew that there was something unique about him. He began drawing and painting animals and nature scenes when he was five, but suddenly noticed an interesting similarity, which led him to create surreal images.
