''I am honoured to have painted a portrait of the legendary Steve Strange, front-man of the iconic 80's group Visage'' - Michelle Deyna-Hayward The original painting was presented by Stephen Jones to Gillian Harrington, Steve Strange's Mother, with Michelle present, at the VIP, invitation only event, celebrating Steve's life on Sat 26th Sept, at The Club, the private members only club, at The Cafe Royal Hotel, Regent Street, London. Steve is remembered fondly and missed terribly by family, friends and his many fans who know him as a visionary and vital member of the group of young creatives, who, bored with the whole punk scene in 1978, came together in Billy's nightclub. Cambridgeshire - From 1st September until 8th September, The Angles Theatre and Arts Centre will again play host to a retrospective of work in the Gallery and Bar by established Artist, Michelle Deyna-Hayward. This will encompass mixed media work, including graphite, pastels, water colour, Acrylics and Oils and taking in her extensive travels across 37 countries and 49 American States. Work to be included in this retrospective of Michelle's work are figurative works previously exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts, London and her entry for the BP Portrait Award 2014, held annually at the National Portrait Gallery, London. Original work and prints will be for sale and commissions taken. Michelle looks forward to this opportunity to promote and support The Angles Theatre and Arts Centre and highlight the Arts in general in Wisbech and surrounding villages.

Work to be included in this retrospective of Michelle's work are figurative works previously exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts, London and her entry for the BP Portrait Award 2014, held annually at the National Portrait Gallery, London. Following a Private View (by invitation only) Michelle will be on hand to discuss her influences, teaching and work at various times. Original work and prints will be for sale and commissions taken. Michelle is an active member of volunteers who record the news for the service.
