My Name Is Shannon Rogers, a photographer and Digital Artist from Australia. A person once told me Photographers are very mean. First, they frame you, then they shoot you, then hang you on the wall, I had to laugh and said I am going to use that one!!
I treat the photograph as a work of great complexity in which you can find many degrees of drama. Add to that a careful composition of landscapes, live photography, the right music and a creative frame of mind, and it becomes a style. When you view my work it's full of passion and dedication. I am very much aware of the visual side of things. I do a lot of photography. I often take images of things that strike me as visually interesting and that inspire me, so I can then forever remember them and share that moment in time with the world!
I hear a select few of people that say using Photoshop is cheating and destroys a Photograph. I strongly disagree with this. Photography to me is an Art and the Camera is my Brush that starts a Journey into the Unknown until there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel and every now and then you may just reach the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow!
So in signing out, I love what I do, it gives me Inspiration a real meaning for life! We have a wonderful world and until I became a Photographer I missed so much of it, But now I see it all much clearer. I welcome you all into my world that has inspired me through the work I have created, where it all starts with my paintbrush the Canon 5D Mark III.
Always Believe and Reach for your Dreams
