I grew up just outside Washington, DC and received my BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art. I currently reside in a Baltimore rowhouse with a drafting table and a cat.I published my first book, The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere, for National Geographic and have worked steadily since it's publication as a freelance illustrator. My much of my illustrative work is done on scratchboard before being rendered digitally as vectors and I push for an expressionistic feel with these images. I am available for commissions and can be contacted via my website at www.jefthompson.com.more
