Angela Puglisi MFA,MA Ph.D, is an artist, art historian and educator
She's a native of Italy and resides in Vienna, Virginia
Her works are located in the USA, Europe, Brazil, & Saudi private collections.
and in The Italian American Museum, Washington, D.C. (IAMDC).

The artist began her studies at the Corcoran College of Art with the color field painter, Leon Berkowitz.
She received her graduate degrees (painting/art history) from Catholic University of America.
Dr Puglisi has taught the fine arts and art history as a professorial lecturer, Art & Culture
at Georgetown University SCS (26 years) and previously taught painting, drawing and art history at Catholic University in the CE program.
In addition, the artist has lectured in the Smithsonian Associate's Program
and conducted special lectures at the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC, in conjunction with her courses.
The artist was chosen to lecture in Tuscany (Siena/Florence), Lombardy (Lakes/Milan), and Dordogne Region of France on the Art and Cultures of those regions.
Selected works have been sold at Neiman Marcus (Galleria in McLean, VA) for over 6 years. Her travels produced a series of art works inspired by the places she visits and lectures, as well as the Mediterranean region, which is part of her heritage.
Color and linear movement of form are elements which are a constant source of inspiration and exploration in all her works.
