Betsy spends most of the year at her long-time home in North Pole, Alaska, but travels to Tucson, AZ for a few weeks each winter to thaw out. Both locations provide the natural beauty and cultural richness she loves and incorporates into her paintings. Betsy paints a variety of subjects in both watercolor and acrylic, and has enjoyed painting on contour topographic maps lately, including several commissions of lovely homes. She can often be seen selling her art around town at pop-up venues and gift shops when she takes a break from traveling, gardening, and spending time with family.
