Betty Bee has been a professional artist since 1982. She works primarily in watercolor and acrylic but in the past she was also a printmaker. She taught intermediate watercolor for the Myrtle Beach, SC Recreation Department for sixteen years and the Sunset River Marketplace Gallery in Calabash, NC for 9 years.
