I am an artist whose artwork is influenced by culture. I am part Cherokee Native American and that definitely comes through in my artwork. I also love African art, so you can see that influence also. I was born in North Carolina and have lived there my entire life. My talent comes from my father's side of the family, with my father being a folk artist, and my uncle is a furniture maker.
