Caroline Owen Doar
Resides in Arizona.
As a Artist, Caroline explains ' Every subject of my paintings must have the expression of life an movement...even if it's merely a rock. ' Inspired by imagination and fueled with creativity, she occasionally wonders if a painting is ever truly finished. Painting is a rewarding life-long passion for Caroline.
Her 1994 Gallery Exhibition earned her a glowing praise in a featured artical of the Arizona Wildcat newspaper. She was commissioned by The University of Arizona department of biochemistry in the 1980's to create Holiday window murals. After the devastation of hurricane Katrina in 2002, several of her painted flagstone pieces were successfully sold at auction with all proceeds donated to the care and relief of abanoned animals.
Caroline is self taught Artist, her unique and creative vision is manifested throughout all her Artwork.
Exhibited as sole artist for three month in 2013 at Allegra School of music.
Caroline finished a work-shop with with master artist Gabor Svagrik, an eye opening experience in January 2010.
Oil painter.Participated In the Tucson Arts brigade, painted with the Tucson Plien Air Society an the Tucson Artist Guild.
Published works in Acacia elementary school year book, published works in Biochemistry U&A science magazine in 1982.
Commissions for various murals threw out the years.
Future goal is to exhibit at the Goethe Institute in Los Angeles California in the near future.
