A photographer for over 40 years, Carol Orr Hartman started painting at her artist grandmother's knee at age 8. Coming from a long line of creative descendants, her grandfather built many of the grand historical homes along the east coast of Florida, from Maralago (Margaret Merriweather Post home), to the Biltmore Hotel and Viscaya in Miami, using ornate carved stone and beautiful plaster applications to ceilings and walls.
