After teaching art on Prince Island, Canada, for two years, I visited Charleston and fell in love with its beauty. Moving to Charleston, I taught Latin at a private school and took a watercolor class from Virginia Fouche Bolton. Watercolor became my passion, I married a native Charlestonian and when my daughters were born the painting became a second career.
