Steven Townsend is the founder and co-owner of Code 3 Images LLC. In addition to appearing at code3images.com, Steve’s photographs are published in classroom training materials by the National Fire Academy for the U.S. Fire Administration. Alert-All, a fire safety education company. Steve's photos are featured in multiple JB Learning textbooks such as Fundamentals of Firefighter Skills and Fire Officer Principles and Practice by the National Fire Protection Association and Intermediate Emergency Care and Transportation of the Sick and Injured by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Steve’s pictures are used by universities throughout the United States in programs that prepare nursing and EMT students for some of the emergencies they will face on the job. The Louisville Medical Center’s trauma teams have used specific MVC photos for educational purposes in order to compare patients’ injuries to the vehicles in which they were trapped.

Steve is also a freelance photographer for the Hardin County Independent Newspaper in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
