I have always had an interest in photography but it wasn’t until a recent birthday present from my husband that I had a camera I really felt comfortable using. Looking through the lens of a camera has changed how I see the world around me. While I think pictures are a great way to share memories, to me they are also a great way to tell a story. My hope is that the viewers of my photos can relate to them and see the uniqueness that I see.
I really enjoy macro photography - getting a close up look at the beauty that God has surrounded us with. It amazes me how I notice things while carrying a camera that I never would have seen before. Lighting, shadows and reflections are now seen with an eye for detail instead of a passing glance.
My best friend introduced me to this website and I will be forever grateful to her. I now have a place to post my photos while also enjoying the beauty and works of others. With the continued support of others who share my passion for photography I hope to continue to improve my skills and grow to love this great hobby even more.
