An award-winning photographer, Eva Kato has been photographing for over 40 years. She has had photographs published in advertising brochures, magazines, international exhibitions and even as a book cover. She published her first book, “No Speaka Da Language”, in 2011.
Among the publications her images have appeared in are: 'Tobacco Journal International', Toronto's weekly 'NOW' magazine, 'Outpost' magazine, 'Toronto Life', 'Photo Life', 'Creeds Catalogue', The Toronto Camera Club’s 'FOCUS' magazine, and more.
Internationally, Eva’s images have been exhibited in 'Viaggiando Immaginando' at the Science Centre in Turin, Italy, and have travelled with Bruce Mau’s 'Massive Change' exhibit to Victoria, B.C., the AGO and the United States. Eva has also had solo exhibits at several community arts and craft shows.
She is a long-standing member and a Past President of the Toronto Camera Club where she has exhibited her work in the in-house Powell Gallery several times.
Travel photography is Eva’s special interest, concentrating on capturing the cultures and lifestyles of different locations. Often she uses the photographs to create feature-length travelogues with music and commentary.
