Born in Beirut-Lebanon, Greta Torossian holds a Diplome de Photographie (4 year program) from the University of St-Esprit, Kaslik, Lebanon. Her project 'Du Corporel' on the human body was given the 1st place by the Diploma jury.
She has had many solo and collective exhibitions. Her project 'Beirut 99: Real Visions' has been exhibited in Beirut, France, New York (Aperture Gallery), Houston (Fotofest), The Netherlands (Noorderlicht Photofestival), Singapore (National Museum of Singapore), among other places.
Torossian treats her subjects with a conceptual approach. She is interested in urban landscapes and the notion of duality, human perceptions and illusions.
