Art has been a big part of my life as long as I can remember. I spent most of my life in the mid-west...Indiana to be exact. When most( in my adolescent years) were enjoying sports, I was obsorbing & sketching as much as possible. Not to mention taking art related classes at the IU extinction and home Art League, on occasion.
For the most part I'm self taught. Nomatter how many classes or museums I've been exposed to, I kept seeing the same repetition over and over. This frustrated me, causing me to get out of the box of exceptance and attempt to bring something new to the table. This is what I strive for. I like creating a raw almost unfinished look, to better involve the viewer.
The mediums I work with vary from piece to piece, but mainly I use chalk pastels, pen / ink...nothing intricate mostly bold, watercolor, acrylic and ill occassionally go through spurts of photo manipulations.
