I am originally from Nottingham, England.
I always looked at objects and nature and wanted to either draw it or take it apart. After college I spent 5 years working in the same school that taught me my foundations. I would work with students in CAD-CAM layouts and operations of the Co2 Laser cutter and 3D layout software. I always found an artistic side to CAD-CAM not just an engineering process.
Around 2008 I started to practice photography with a friend visiting different places and spending the day enjoying the outside world away from the computer.
I moved to the U.S.A. in 2009 to be with my wife and just in time for the first Art Prize of Grand Rapids. This was the main reason for me to start looking at what I can do artistically. Art Prize gave me a reason to try and create something that I may have never tried. My focus before this was on photography and computer graphics.
With social networks and website like Fine Art America it's nice to be able to share my work and get feedback from friends, family and complete strangers.
My main goal is to be seen as a media artist. I work with as many techniques as I can to create. I also started a site in 2009 which is my platform for linking all these mediums together. www.wpdmedia.com is Wolf Pro Design & Media. Pro design referring to the graphics and CAD work, Media relating to photography and music. The Wolf is me, has been since high school.
