While studying to be an Art Therapist in Toronto, I discovered the freedom of expression using spontaneity as an art form. Since then, I have dabbled in three dimensional effects with tissue paper, cat litter, bits of glass, glue, gesso, and most recently, shells from the Florida Gulf Coast. As I tend to work quickly, I use acrylic paint as my main medium. Having lived in Spanish speaking countries most of my growing up years, I am heavily influenced by colours found in Latin themes.
