Lynn, an award-winning Artist has received International Status over the past several years. She has been awarded Signature Status in the International Society of Experimental Artists (ISEA), been accepted into Juried shows in New Zealand, France, Mexico, USA & Canada, as well as had her work published in books, magazines, and newspapers. Her work can be found in both corporate and private collections throughout the world. Her work is housed in the permanent collection of the city of Spruce Grove, AB, the ArtColle Museum in Sergines, France and the International Museum of Collage in Mexico. Lynn works out of her studio in The Big Lake Art Studio located in Riel Business Park in St Albert. She is a popular Art Instructor, Juror, Creativity Coach, and Mentor. She works in all media and her latest work reflects her interest in interpreting her impressions of the world through mixed media. Using an experimental approach, and working in an abstract style she has coined 'Conceptual Expressionism,' Lynn captures the spirit of life, regardless of subject matter.
Artist's Statement- Lynn Lawson Pajunen
My paintings are mostly modern and contemporary, abstract in form, with some representational in the mix to reflect my impressions of the world. I use an experimental approach, a style I call 'Conceptual Expressionism,' to bring the essential qualities of spirituality and intensity and to my paintings.
