Hello and thanks for stopping by. I am an artist located in the Atlanta, GA area (Hampton). I really enjoy utilizing my gift of visual arts and displaying my work so that others can enjoy it also. Most of my pieces are of an abstract, decorative, modern and contemporary nature. I love color, geographic shapes, things related to outer space, the human body, texture and nature. My favorite and most commonly used shapes are rectangles and circles. As you will see, these are some of the things that influence my art. All of my original pieces are large, ranging from 30 inches to 6 feet. This allows me to be as free as I want to be when painting. I also from time to time switch over to photography.

At an early age, I received encouragement to be as creative as I want and to be thrifty. These influences have helped me considerably throughout my art endeavors. Most of my paintings are on stretched canvas panels that I actually make myself. As you all may know, stretched canvases, along with other art supplies can be very expensive. Being somewhat of a nonconformist has allowed me to be comfortable in how I express myself in art. Other materials that I use include wood, foam board, durable sheets of recycled metal and just about anything that I can convert into a beautiful piece of art. I paint mostly with acrylics and sometimes incorporate oils, enamel, soft pastels, oil pastels, and charcoal. It all depends on the effect I'm trying to achieve at the time. Other media used in my peices include graphite, color pencils and very rarely ink.

During high school, I was accepted to participate in the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts. There, I was introduced to clay and ceramics. I quickly picked up the skills of throwing clay on a potter's wheel and other ceramics techniques. As soon as I can get my own studio, I plan the get back into creating with clay.
