MORRIS T. HOWARD
ARTIST STATEMENT
Morris was born January 22, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio. The artist began drawing at the age of five. He started by posing his brother for portraits on paper bags. Morris recalls the Art Instruction Schools TV series hosted by Norman Rockwell as an early influence. 'He made people look real and that had quite an impact on me.'
