Photography for me is but a continuation of the act of observation. More often than not it has been aided and accompanied by a camera. Hardly ever do I leave home without a camera, sometimes to the dismay of friends, companions etc. So by default my camera has become an extension of the process of observing and my inner visions along with assisting me with being present, being patient and being still. In doing and being so I can attempt to capture observations and hold them via film or digital card for later review. The end result is my overall 'creative and visual voice' of which the following is but a glimpse.
The photographer Minor White said it best: 'When you approach something to photograph it, first be still with yourself until the object of your attention affirms your presence. Then don't leave until you have captured its essence.'
