Combat Pilots of WWII
As part of my Combat Pilots of WWII photographic book project I photographed and interviewed 32 WWII pilots in ten countries. Some of them are true legends in aviation history. I photograph them in poses that are the same as photos of them from the war. You can almost always see it is the same man, in spite of the 65 - 70 year gap between the two photos. Here at Fine Art America they are presented as side-by-side portraits and single portraits for you to show in pride of place in your house or office. Note, I photographed most of the pilots; however, Mike Schoenholtz photographed the American pilots.
