Richard E. Christian and his wife Jane reside in Litchfield, Connecticut, a rural New England community. His land borders one of several marshes scattered throughout the White Memorial Foundation, a nature area of some 4000 acres. Numerous walking trails offer access to an endless suppply of subject matter for his paintings.
