I have always been interested in photography since I was little, but only got into it seriously when I began college and acquired a 1930s Kodak box camera. I was fascinated by the amazing detail obtained from those large negatives. I enrolled in a college photography class and was soon taking photojournalism classes too and shooting sports for the school paper. I then took studio and art photography classes to add to my studies. Photography became my undeclared 'minor' at the University.
