I'm a child of the South but have traveled and seen beautiful parts of the world.
I find beauty and meaning in the things of everyday life, particularly vintage Americana objects. Worn wood and rusted metal speaks to me of human hands that have touched it or the elements of time that have given it a beautiful patina. Being outdoors centers me; the beautiful seasons of nature, the influences of light and how it affects the colors of the landscape. I'm particularly partial to clear water running over rocks -- the sight and sound of it is a balm for my soul.
My interest in photography is a work in progress and each time my camera captures some of the beauty of our world, it's a thrill. I hope that my work speaks to you and somehow transports you to those same experiences.
