Perhaps best known as a figurative artist, with an interest in history and vintage style.   Along with strong influences from popart and french impressionist movements, my main subjects are dancers, musicians, & fashion, as well as vintage objects.   Gradual development of an interest in digital art and photography has allowed me to experiment with different media and tools , producing images that don't exist in physical form until printed.   I often combine my original drawings , paintings, and photo's with pixel based designs , many now available via FineArtAmerica.   Images...more

Music art

A collection of fine art paintings ,drawings , and photographs by Tom Conway. The collection includes artworks created in a variety of media including oils, acrylic, watercolour, pastels, and digital artwork. Influenced by popart and impressionism among other artistic styles , music artwork here includes the popular "slash" and 'Jimi hendrix' paintings, and the portrait of Ringo Starr. You will also find some paintings inspired by other genres of music such as the classical cellist in 'a new sensation, as well as punk fashion , and the photograph titled 'penny lane' after the Liverpool area that inspired the Beatles song of the same name.
