Welcome! This is the official Gallery of Trude Janssen, Travel Photographer.
From early on, Trude Janssen has been both a traveler and a photographer. She lived in Europe most of her life and took every opportunity to explore the many different cultures and places in Western Europe while living there. She was fascinated by the differences in cultures, nature and architecture.
It was in College in the USA when her interest in photography really sparked. While taking a creative photography class she noticed what a camera can do to reality, and how creative you can be in a dark room. By looking through a lens a picture can become a true awesome scene.
After graduating from College, she decided to first go traveling in North, Central and South America. In North America, she hit the road in her Volkswagen Vanagon and explored the country from East to West and North to South. She then set foot in Guatemala City with just a backpack and a camera, traveling from North to South ending in Panama City. From there she started exploring many countries in South America, admiring the beautiful people and the amazing places there.
