Most of my photography is a product of 20 years of photojournalism (print and video) for the U.S. Navy as a public affairs Chief Petty Officer. One great aspect of military life is that you shoot in a huge variety of environments, from the obvious combat operations to the more peaceful insides of a ship's boiler. I've shot 100s of thousands of images and many miles of videotape (prior to moving to digital). I still shoot almost every day for the feds as a medical photographer.
