'I see the world through a frame. I am drawn to an image by the qualities of its light and composition. Each image lends itself to a particular medium. In acrylic I find the mysteries hidden in shadows. Clues are revealed in pools of light. The sharpness of neon is a particular challenge - there is a subtle glow of colour cast on all the surrounding surfaces.
