Born in Winnipeg and raised in B.C and Manitoba. Her Father being a transgendered and her Mother a capricorn - Violet has always seen the world through someone else's eyes. In ways of verbal communication and personality, she has always been an 'off beat' girl. This translates into her art work. The birth of her daughter spawned a new series- the Skele series. Violet has had no formal training and has been drawing since she was able to hold a pencil, and painting for 14 years. Up until now Violets work have been random acts of art. more
