Yana understood that her vocation is painting quite early in her life; by the age of 19 she had mastered the profession of scene painter. She has probably the best classical education available for painters in Russia: Master of Fine Arts degree at Moscow State V.I.Surikov Academic Institute of Arts (graduated 2002).
