Capitol Building Throw Pillows
The Capitol Building didn't always look the way it does in the images on these throw pillows. The complex takes up nearly 16.5 acres today. Edward Clark oversaw the complete reconstruction of the dome in 1868, and architects rebuilt the Capitol Building again after a fire in 1898. Under J. George Stewart, the appointed architect, a huge extension of 102 rooms was added to the eastern wing of the Capitol Building in 1959.
