Print And Licensing Sites

I have a FAA site where I sell prints and can track visitors. I have a licensing site on FAA where visitors can purchase only digital files.

It seems the visitor tracking is not separated from each other. When I go the licensing site, I see the same visitors as to my print site.

How can view the visitors to my licensing site, independent of my print site?

you only get one tracking and that's on the AW. and it would be the same people on both faa and pixels because they had to view the image to license the image. its the same room.

I was hoping to find a way to determine who is shopping for prints and who is shopping for digital files.

i've always thought it was a bad idea to sell both things on the same site. because if the license is a better deal, they can just print it for less. but no. if you make a print sale, you will know, and i guess if you license it, you will know.

The visitor documentation shows up once for FAA/Pixels/your AW/licensing because everything goes back to the one particular hi-res image.

I suppose I could get a separate FAA account and sell only digital files on that one.

that would be confusing for customers and you would have to send everything twice. and you may be competing against yourself with two images in the search. will they land on the right one? you may lose print sales that way.

generally in my book i think its best to keep art and stock separate. you have a set of stock images and a set of art images and they don't touch.

I suspect you’d find the licensing side of the site is kinda dead. Just a hunch. What you seem to be asking is for there to be stats for each domain — Pixels, FAA, licensing, etc. I think that would tell you less than it does now

The licensing site is not dead at all. Just the opposite
