A shot looking through the reels of my grandfather's binder. A binder was used to cut grain and tie it into sheaves. I'd guess this binder has been sitting here since the late 1950's. I took several shots of the binder from the front, side etc. and finally found this angle.

All was still in the dark corner of the lounge except for the flicker of the candle shining on the martini glass, and then she entered the room...

I love black and white, always have. This one was initially a little dark and heavy looking with the cows and much of the wrap-around porch on the old farmhouse in the shade. I went looking for a way to bring out the details and settled on this sketch look treatment which I think has the added benefit of suiting this timeless scene.
