This is Fine Art America's Admin Abbie Shore's "Edit This 25" challenge. I'll call this submission "Edit This Challenge 25a". I leveled the image and processed the basic adjustments for color, tone, contrast, levels, etc., and then added some salmon running upstream with bears trying to catch them.
This is Fine Art America's Admin Abbie Shore's "Edit This 25" challenge. I'll call this submission "Edit This Challenge 25b". I leveled the image and processed the basic adjustments for color, tone, contrast, levels, etc., and then added a boy with an orange inner tube preparing to float in the stream. I also added some wildflowers on the shore to enhance the picturesque quality.
Stalking eyes haunt visitors from the darkness along this stretch of forgotten land. The Kenduskeag Stream rolls up against the rocks and boulders of this heavily wooded destination, which we call The Barrens.
Image inspired by Stephen King's IT and the fictional location of The Barrens in Derry, Maine. I imagine the Losers Club building their small dam here while being stalked by the menacing Pennywise.
I am in the middle of moving and was thinking that I was not going to do this one but I can't resist. I love these challenges. I only added a bit to this pretty nature scene - a turtle resting on the rocks, some wildflowers at the edge and a Great Blue Heron in the trees to slightly balance it. Thanks Abbie for these fun challenges! Now back to packing.
