I want to offer some of my work to friends for a minimal markup during this time of isolation to make their days a little prettier. Did it to basically prints and downloads for their screens and cards. To that end marked some of my things up only $1 for the time being. It seems to make no difference in the prices of, for example, prints, i.e., one marked up 15 v. one marked up 1. Why is that? So confusing. Thx.
i'm not sure i get your question. after you edit - with the BULK editor, they should all change. you'll always see your own price. but there is also the base price, so that will always be there. and shipping you can't do anything about at all.
also you may be better off giving people a code for 95% off, rather than changing your prices, so they know you discounted it. but don't tell them the amount, or they will wonder why its not nearly free.
Mike, I realize that there will be the main price for FAA and shipping and all of that. It just seems that, for ex., if I click on an 8/10 print in a regularly priced item, it comes out, let's say $20 and then I click on the discounted ($1 profit) item, it still comes out $20. I know the prices are changed in the item "edit" area. I am ready to already give up. thx for your input.
David, I am not giving a discount as a marketing thing. It is because I want people to be able to download pretty things in the time of sadness and crisis. We just lost our next door neighbor to this corona and I live in NY where it is rampant. They can download as a screen saver or digitally to put on their wall if they want. I want to do my thing in this crisis as I can't make masks or anything.
