Congrats on your spotlight, Nikki! You have such a wide range of images in your portfolio, but this one has always been one of my favorites.

Congratulations, Nikki! I became acquainted with Nikki through a group that I administer, Orange Euphoria. Her beautiful photography has graced our group's gallery for years and has served as the group's logo a few times. I most admire your relentless pursuit of the EXTRAordinary ordinarinesses of Life’s textures…organics, architectural detail, seasons …the list goes on in your ample portfolio. I further admire the metaphor your PhotoArt explores. Below is an example.



I will try to find your sepia carved door series …midstop…en route to either mid flight or train while on vacation …brilliant! I also thank you and Merana for launching the “blog contest series” concept by sharing your backstories. Again CONGRATULATIONS for this spotlight…so WELL DESERVED.

I saw many, many similar sights this past weekend as we drove through Central Ohio. Interstate 70 crossed through one large farm after another with multiple outbuildings and grain bins. Rural America. There's nothing quite like it, is there?

Nikki was maybe the first person who came to my attention when I joined FAA way back when. She has an outstanding and varied portfolio. Congratulations, Nikki!

I'm in and out of Nebraska frequently, so I'm very familiar with Nikki's work as we are in a couple of non-FAA groups together. When I was first starting on FAA, Nikki brought a bad review to my attention that had to do with a matting problem on one of my sales and helped me get it straightened out. I'm a real fan of both her and her images!
