This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.
Artist's Description
Scanning electron microscope of the sound producing comb of the Field Cricket (Gryllus pennsylvanicus). This specimen was collected in the Finger Lake Region of New York State. The sound from this insect comes from their comb rubbing against the underside of the opposite wing. Only male crickets produce the characteristic sound. Magnification 451x with a field of view of 205um.
