You've caught her beguiling innocence/naivete and yet her wisdom, too. I love the small splash of a colour that brings the whole art to life, without being too obvious as to why it does. The eyes draw you in, and you want to know what she's thinking...great art does that, and this portrait unleashes so many questions I want to ask her, because it's such great art. As ever, you hit the target right on the bullseye Paul and I am beginning to think you may have sold your soul to Beelzebub, so that you can achieve perfection in every image you paint!

Hey Michael... I thank you , I was really trying to capture her eyes and the essence , I once said Good Morning to her in Hyde Park London early one morning while I was down on Holiday, her minder was not very pleased, has I jogged along the waters edge , but she smiled, and said good morning back, it was fleeting, as two steps after I realised who she was ,and nearly fell over looking back to make completely such it was her, I'm sure my wife Anne thought I was making this story up after my daily early morning run over breakfast.. ..... So this is why I painted her on my return to Edinburgh... Best wishes Paul
