First off....I bought premixed....and it is fairly expensive vs watercolor paint. It has a "sticky" quality not in W/C's, and it is harder to clean from the brushes. It takes a soap and water clean-up. The plus.....brilliant color....especially if mixed with W/C. For sure.....try it !! Wyeth was a big proponent, ya know.

Another note: Larry I still LOVE this gorgeous picture. Larry, I need your advice. I have not tried egg tempera. Is it easy and /or fun to use? How is it different?
