Shan- Lemme tell ya- it is not too much sugar! A beignet is a "French donut". Really it is much like fried dough at a carnival except it is a puffy rectangular shape. They are served piping hot, and they are heavenly!

I like this....also having fun taking photos of food.I have no idea what is beignet....one thing for sure, there is way to much sugar on it...or is it the Last breakfast?....
