Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
Flying Tigers, P-40 Warhawk in the clouds
While shooting aircraft over the years, I came to the realization that shooting air to air and getting the right angle, the right background and the most detail in the aircraft consistently was impossible. So, calling on my skills as a designer, I created a photo illustration technique that allows me to create beautiful large format detailed aircraft images just the way I envision them. I have won major awards for my designs, art and photography throughout my career and have sold my work all over the world. My studio is located in Colorado Springs. I take great pride in the execution, creative process and quality of all my work.

Hey Larry thanks for your comment. I love this shot of the P-40! I was wondering if you would allow me to draw this image? It is really a good view point. By the way what kind of lense due you use? I have a 300mm zoom but I cannot focus the thing fast enough to get pics, especially of aircraft. Just wondering. :o) Thanks again!

Yes, nice work. What they flew over Burma, pre-WWII, i think, under General Chenault? The author of "God is My Co-Pilot" describes successfully flying one of these babies high up over Mt. Everest, and was reported next day in an Indian newspaper, for which he was called on the carpet.
