A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!
Artist's Description
Base painting of the vintage movie poster for ''Elephant Walk'', released in 1954 and directed by William Dieterle, is a lavish melodrama set against the backdrop of British colonial-era Ceylon (modern-day Sri Lanka). Starring Elizabeth Taylor and Dana Andrews, the film is a visually stunning exploration of love, ambition, and the clash of cultures.
The story follows the newlywed couple Ruth (Elizabeth Taylor) and John Wiley (Peter Finch) as they arrive at the vast tea plantation known as Elephant Walk. However, their marital bliss is soon overshadowed by the presence of John's domineering mother, played by Flora Robson, and the haunting legacy of the plantation's former owner, John's deceased father.
Elizabeth Taylor delivers a mesmerizing performance as Ruth, a spirited and determined woman who finds herself caught in a web of family secrets and forbidden desires. Dana Andrews portrays John Wiley with a brooding intensity, torn between his love for Ruth and his loyalty...
