"Framed Common Loon in its Prime" is an original wildlife photograph and digital art by Sandra Huston.

This wildlife artwork captures the beauty and grace of a common loon also known as the great Northern diver rising out of the water and shaking the water from its wings. This male loon is usually the first to arrive each spring to defend its territory from other males while he waits for his mate to arrive. I never get tired of watching and photographing these amazing birds and look forward to camp each summer to listen to there haunting calls at night echoing across the lake. After uploading this image I decided to add matching boarders to frame this loon photograph for a more unique one of a kind bird art. This artwork would look exceptional reproduced as a canvas, acrylic or metal print for any nature lover’s home or office.
