I wanted to create a piece where the sky was the main subject. This scene is an area close to where I live and grew up (Square Butte and Round Butte) in Montana. I've seen a few storms of this magnitude in the area and it portrays a sense of beauty, as well as fear. It's a piece filled with emotion.
