Description
After hiking about 9 miles into remote Havasu Canyon (Arizona) with towering red cliffs, Upper Navajo Falls was one of our first signs of life. It was such a beautiful waterfall with greenery after hiking miles through the dry desert scenery.
The hike is filled with scenic beauty, complete with towering red cliffs and spectacular turquoise waterfalls. Located in one of the most remote and beautiful corners of the Grand Canyon on the Havasupai Indian Reservation is the village of Supai, Arizona. Only accessible by hiking, horseback or helicopter.
We were on a 3-day hike. We hiked in and out and did extra hiking on day 2 to other waterfalls. Our total trip was approximately 30 miles.

This has always been the one thing I wished I had done on my many trips to Grand Canyon. Just love that canyon and those gorgeous red rocks. You can just pick up some water vapor against the red rocks above the falls. Beautiful photo, Lori! L/F
