Description
"In the Age of Civility"
Photographic portraiture as a reflection on the ruinous current state of affairs that is permeating societies around the world with its putrid stench. For a supposedly "civil" society, the level of racism, fascism, nationalism, sexism and civil unrest that has reared its deplorable head at the encouragement of the prior United States presidential administration absolutely must be crushed to the point of total extinction. It is a disgusting reflection on us as a 21st century modern society, devastating to the health of us as a nation and most importantly, a direct and unyielding path to the destruction of humankind as a whole. This is a fight in which the good guys have no choice but to win and no one, no matter what their political affiliation, is excused from participation to the upmost of their abilities. This is not "their" problem; it is OUR problem. It's time to stop tolerating this behavior from absolutely anyone. Back down from fighting this fight and you will have only the responsibility of the catastrophic results to own... and own them you most certainly will.
You'll find more activism artwork in my The Resistance art gallery, if you are so inclined.

It is beautifully presented and unusually presented. The subject matter is grim, but the woman in the photograph compels us to look at her and to see her. The circles of light in the eyes and the disjointed alignment of the subject hold our attention.
